Out Husk the Huskers...whatever that means. It's the best title I could think of. Happy Halloween, folks. I know it's not actually October 31st, but people say Merry Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, so it works.

We have a big game on our hands this Saturday. Nebraska, coming in after a bye, is looking to continue their dominance over the Gophers. If you didn't know, they have beat us by a combined score of 1,000 points the last 2 years. Look it up, it's fact.

Gophers Hope To Tame The Wildcats

Even though they were ranked as high as #16 in the USA Today poll, Northwestern doesn't seem to strike fear into the hearts of Gopher fans.

"Sure, they have been ranked, but what does that mean," said Chad Wilson. "They are still 0-2 in the B1G just like us." Although this is a true statement, I'm not sure I can agree with Chad.

It's true, on paper, both teams are 0-2 in the B1G, but it's the way the teams have lost that make a difference to me.

Jerry Kill To Step Away......For Now

When Jerry Kill was annouced as the new head football coach for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, there was a lot of excitement. He was coming in here leaving behind a program that he worked his magic on. And the Gophers, well, they needed some of that magic.

Fans knew that he had the staff and the skills to turn around a struggling Gopher team, but I don't think we knew the struggle Coach Kill was going through.

Sure, everyone knew of his fight with epilepsy, but it was never a concern. Then again, it never showed it's ugly head at the rate it is now.
